Motor yacht cruise on Lake Baikal.We invite
you to explore Baikal`s beauty and Zabaikalsky National Park by one of
the most exciting ways: on the water. This trip allows you to see and
enjoy the wonderful nature of Lake Baikal and the Zabaikalsky National
Park, to explore the highest mountain plateau of the largest peninsula
of the Lake, to observe Baikal fresh water seals and just have a perfect
vacation.
Tour programme:
2nd – 7th Days. We will reach the Zabaikalsky National Park, from where we begin the aquatic part of our journey around the only peninsula of the Lake Baikal. For the next five days we will be cruising on the Lake with stops for a walking excursion on the plateau of the Holy Nose Peninsula (1740 meters) with great video – photo shooting opportunities. Moreover you will have an excursion to the most beautiful places of the Zabaikalsky National Park – the Ushkany Islands are home the Baikal seals and constitute the largest seal rookery of Lake Baikal. You will have an opportunity to observe seals in their natural conditions of living from a specially designedobservation point. In addition, you will see the deepest and most spectacular bays of Baikal – the Barguzinsky and Chivyrkuisky Bays. At Zmeinaya Bay you may try the mineral baths. During our journey you will overnight in tents and on the yacht.
9th Day. After breakfast visit the Ethnographic Museum and see collections of traditional dwellings, clothes and furnishings from all ethnic groups of the region. Visit to the OldBelievers' village (a Russian religious group that split off from the Russian Orthodox Church in the seventeenth century) and introduction to the original folklore and cuisine of the 'semeisky' ethnic group. Return to Ulan Ude for final dinner at restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Ulan Ude. 10th Day. Transfer to airport for departure after breakfast.
