Around the Sacred Nose Peninsula. (Zabaikalsky National Park)

During this trip nothing you can feel in complete harmony with the world, with nothing to distract your attention except for the splash of paddles and circles spiraling out on the water from your kayak. This trip will take you to the unknown, untouched world ofwilderness, unique landscapes and beauty of the largest and deepest lake in the world, Lake Baikal. Leave behind all your problems and discover Baikal`s beauty by kayaking around its only peninsula . You will be kayaking along the coastline of the peninsula in Baikal’s deepest bay, Barguzinsky, and the most beautiful and warmest bay on Baikal – Chivyrkuisky. We will only stop for overnights in quiet bays with no evidence of human beings and a complete absence of civilization, allowing you to have a perfect vacation.

Tour programme:

1st Day. Arrival in Ulan Ude. Transfer to Hotel. According to arrival time, refreshment followed by guided city tour with visits to the history museum. Lunch at the local restaurant. Afternoon excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan, the most important Buddhist temple in Russia. (40 km from Ulan Ude). Visit to a Buryat yurt to enjoy folklore entertainment and traditional Buryat dinner. Return to the hotel.

2nd Day. After breakfast drive to Svyatoy Nos (Sacred Nose) Peninsula in the Zabaikalsky National Park on Lake Baikal (about 270 km.). Stopping for packed lunch en route. Overnight and dinner at the tent camp. Preparation of equipment and kayaks. Dinner.

3rd Day. After breakfast kayaking to Makarova Cape. Lunch and relaxation. Kayaking to Tolsty Cape. Overnight and dinner at the tent camp.

4th Day. After breakfast kayaking to the southern point of Sacred Nose Peninsula. Lunch and relaxation. Kayaking to small river Zelenenkiy. Excursion in the area, time to see the beautiful Barguzinsky Bay (the largest and deepest bay in Baikal). Overnight and dinner at the tent camp.

5th – 8th Days. Kayaking near the shore of the Sacred Nose Peninsula to Chivyrkuisky Bay. With stops for excursion in the area and observe beautiful natural sights. Fishing. Overnights at the tent camps.

9th Day. Leisure time in Zmeinaya Bay with opportunities to try the mineral baths, to swim in Lake Baikal. Excursions to the islands of Chivyrkuisky Bay.

10th Day.After breakfast kayaking to Monahovo Cape. Drive to Ust-Barguzin by bus. Accommodation in homes of local families. Enjoy real country cooking and experience authentic Russian 'banya'.

11th Day. After breakfast an excursion to the Barguzin Valley to see petroglyphs, the unique natural Suvo "Saxon" castle and sacred rock Bukhe-Shulun (90 km). Return to the friendly host families in Ust-Barguzin.

12th Day. After breakfast, departure for Ulan Ude (260 km). Lunch en route. Accommodation and lunch at the Hotel Buryatia/Geser. Free time to get acquainted with the capital of Buryat Republic. Final dinner at restaurant.

13th Day. Transfer to airport for departure after breakfast.
